2024 looks to be a statement year for Canterbury Rugby Union club.
Following a successful rebuilding phase during 2023 and winning a premiership in 5th division last week, NSW's Suburban Rugby Association (Subbies) voted in support to promote CRUC to 4th division for the 2024 season.
The successful promotion to 4th Div was underpinned by a tremendous pre-season , consistently high numbers for both fitness and team sessions as well a securing a solid 2nd grade coach and core player group with many new and previous berries returning.
Our first trial game is Saturday 9th March against a very strong Sydney Convicts Rugby Club who are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year.
